ROLO Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness
The land based sector covers industries such as landscaping, arboriculture, countryside management and pesticides. This course is aimed at those who work in the land based sector. Along with a CITB Health and Safety test, this course is a requirement for anyone applying for a LISS/CSCS skills card.
This course is certificated by ROLO.
We accept SDS Individual Training Account (ITA) funding for this course.
ROLO Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness and LISS/CSCS Card
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with health, safety and environmental awareness, relating to the land-based industry, before going to work on a site. This course is theory based, with a test being conducted at the end. A CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test can be taken on the same day, if required.
- 1 Day – ROLO Course only
- 1 Day – ROLO Course and CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test.
A maximum of 12 delegates can attend this course.
Upon successful completion of the ROLO tests, delegates will be registered with ROLO (Register of Land-Based Operatives) and issued with a ROLO certificate, valid for 2 years.
Upon successful completion of both the ROLO and CITB tests, delegates will be issued with a ROLO certificate and the relevant LISS/CSCS Card. This card is valid for 5 years.
Most LISS/CSCS Card applications require supporting documents to prove the delegates’ qualifications and/or membership with a recognised professional body. For more information please contact us.
This course can take place at our training centre in Bo’ness, West Lothian or on a site, using your equipment, subject to onsite requirements. The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test takes place at our centre in Bo’ness.
