CSCS Card: Labourer
CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out. To obtain this card, delegates are required to pass the SQA Level 1 Award: Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, or equivalent, and the CITB Operatives Test.
This card is issued by CSCS.
We accept SDS Individual Training Account (ITA) funding for this course.
SQA Level 1 Award: Health and Safety in a Construction Environment
for a CSCS Labourer Card
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with health, safety and environmental awareness before going to work on a site. This course includes theory elements, with tests being conducted on each. The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Labourer Test can be taken on the same day, if required.
- ½ Day – SQA Level 1 Award only
- 1 Day – SQA Level 1 Award and CITB Health, Safety and Environment Labourer Course/Test.
A maximum of 12 delegates can attend this course.
Upon successful completion of the SQA tests, delegates will be registered with SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) and issued with a Scottish Qualifications Certificate (SQC). This is a life-long qualification.
Upon successful completion of both the SQA and CITB tests, delegates will be issued with an SQC and a CSCS Labourer Card (green). This card is valid for 5 years.
This course can take place at our training centre in Bo’ness, West Lothian or on a site, using your equipment, subject to onsite requirements. The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Labourer Test takes place at our centre in Bo’ness.
