Pallet Truck / Stacker

Pedestrian operated pallet trucks and pallet stacker trucks are most commonly used in warehouses and storage facilities for the easy transportation of pallets.  The pallet truck is simply for moving loads from one place to another at ground level, while the stacker is capable of transporting and lifting a palletised load onto a higher level.

We offer certification on the Pallet Truck / Stacker from the following awarding bodies: RTITB, NPORS.

RTITB/NORS Pallet Truck (Low Level), Pallet Stacker Truck (Medium/High Level)

The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely operate a Pallet Truck.  This course includes theory and practical elements, with tests being conducted on each.

Duration

The duration of the course depends on the experience level of the delegates attending and the category of machine.  Typically, these are:

  • 2-3 Days – Novice Course

  • 2 Day – Experienced Operator Course (no previous certification)
  • 1 Day – Refresher Course (proof of previous certification is required).

Attendee Numbers

A maximum of 3 delegates can attend this course.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the RTITB tests, delegates will be registered on the NORS database and issued with an RTITB/NORS Operator Card and Certificate, valid for 3 years.  To maintain their card and registration with NORS, operators are required to complete a 1 Day RTITB/NORS Refresher Course every 3 years.

Location

This course can take place at a location of your choice,using your machine, subject to onsite requirements.

 

NPORS Pallet/Stacker Truck (N008)

The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely operate a Pallet/Stacker Truck.  This course includes theory and practical elements, with tests being conducted on each.

Duration

The duration of the course depends on the experience level of the delegates attending.  Typically, these are:

  • 2 Day – Novice Course
  • 1 Day – Experienced Worker Course (experienced but no previous certification, includes training)
  • 1 Day – Experienced Worker Tests (experienced but no previous certification, no training provided)
  • 1 Day – Refresher Course (to renew a Traditional NPORS Operator Card).

Attendee Numbers

A maximum of 3 delegates can attend this course.

Certification

NPORS Operator Card (Traditional) –Valid for 3 years.  To maintain their card and registration with NPORS, operators are advised to complete a 1 Day NPORS Refresher Course every 3 years.

This course can take place at a location of your choice, using your machine, subject to onsite requirements.
