Manual Handing

Manual Handling relates to the lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing or pulling of items, by hand or bodily force.  To reduce the risk of injury there are several important factors to consider including the weight/size of the item, the number of times it is to be picked up or carried, the distance it is to be carried and its final location.

We offer certification on Manual Handling from the following awarding body: NPORS.

We accept SDS Individual Training Account (ITA) funding for this course.
