Health, Safety and Environment Tests

The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Tests have been developed to raise standards across the construction industry. Different tests have been created to meet the needs of different trades and professions, such as operatives, supervisors, demolition and work at height. These tests are certificated by CITB.

CSCS Card: Labourer

CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out. To obtain this card, delegates are required to pass the SQA Level 1 Award: Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, or equivalent, and the CITB Operatives Test.

This card is issued by CSCS.

ROLO Health and Safety

The land based sector covers industries such as landscaping, arboriculture, countryside management and pesticides. This course is aimed at those who work in the land based sector. Along with a CITB Health and Safety test, this course is a requirement for anyone applying for a LISS/CSCS skills card. This course is certificated by ROLO.

NPORS Safety Awareness

The course gives delegates an awareness of health and safety and how it affects their daily roles in the workplace.It provides delegates with the necessary knowledge required to safely work on a construction site. This course is suitable for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction industry.

This course is certificated by NPORS.

Safety Passport

The CCNSG Safety Passport is a nationally recognised qualification which provides delegates with essential basic knowledge to safely work on engineering construction sites. By covering a variety of topics, this course helps contractors to improve their employees’ awareness of health and safety issues.

This course is certificated by ECITB / CCNSG.

Leading a Team Safely

The Leading a Team Safely Course provides supervisors and team leaders with an essential introduction to managing small teams within the context of Health and Safety in the engineering construction industry. This allows them to ensure workers work on site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others.
